Corvette Will Remain Chevy

Recently discussion and rumor was the Corvette name was going to branch out into its own car brand but that has been put to rest. You can read more of it from Motor Authority here.

According to the GM President Mark Reuss said the Corvette was going to remain a Chevrolet product.

Which is something I am happy with considering without it Chevy would have 0 sports cars in their catalog.

And I believe part of the Chrysler group’s downfall of some of the brands have been segregated too much that some names have no meaning anymore.

Look what happened to dodge once the ram was removed and called its own brand. Dodge makes only the stinger and now will make the charger. That’s it.
