New Audi Breaks Track Record

Audi not too long ago unveiled the new 2025 RS3 and it broke a record on the Nurburgring for compact car with a time of 7 minutes and 33.12 seconds beating out the BMW M2 holding a time of 7 minutes and 38.71 seconds.

Specs for the new RS3 are as follows (all found from Car and Driver):

1. Engine: 2.5L 5 cylinder

2. Power: 401 hp

3. 0-60: 3.3 seconds

4. Price: $64,000 (approximated)

It is interesting for someone like myself (who really likes the German cars) watch Audi take an effective shot at BMW who for most of automotive history has held the title of the sportier brand amongst the big 3 (being Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz). Audi is clearly working to get away from the being the ‘old man car’ as it has been seen as in many circles.
