New Ferrari F80

Images from Car and Driver
Yesterday Ferrari unveiled the successor to the LaFerrari, the F80 and the public opinion of this car was not very well.
The new car has:
1184 hp
3.0L Twin Turbo V6 (producing 888hp on its own)
Assisted by 5 electric motors
9200 rpm redline
217 mph top speed
799 will be produced (all already sold apparently)

A lot of the criticism comes from 2 major items:
Lack of a large v12 engine (considering their SUV received one but not the flagship hypercar)
The looks of the car which are arguably boring compared to previous anniversary cars
Now the reason for the V6 is because this car’s engine comes from their winning racecar that won Les Mans not too long ago.
The looks are something I agree is very tame compared to some of their cars and many have claimed Ferraris stopped being pretty when Pininfarina stopped designing the cars over 10 years ago.

Between this and the new W1 the only car left to complete a new holy trinity is the new Porsche hyper car that is theoretically being developed.
Shmee150 did a reveal video to showcase the car you can watch here.
We’ll see you next week.
