New Post

Happy Saturday to you,

This week is a little different because there are some new readers this week. For those that don’t know my name is Steven. I grew up on a farm and have always been interested in mechanics but only recently began a more official path to becoming a certified truck and transport mechanic. Now to clarify this newsletter is not specific to semi trucks and it will be involving everything diesel but that is just the most relevant topic that I can speak on.

I hope to be covering tractors, construction, and even diesel 1 ton subject matter throughout the year as relevant news comes out involving these vehicles. For now I have something cooler to talk about that I hope to provide more value to those in this space.

I have created a group on a platform called Skool. This group is called the Diesel Den. My goal with this group is for anyone (including myself) to post useful information for those working with diesel engines. This could include how-to’s, asking for help diagnosing a strange issue, or providing sources for getting specific parts. This isn’t just for mechanics but if you are a trucker, contractor, farmer, etc this could be a place to get some help with something specific that might be stopping you from working or hopefully save some money by not having to send your machine to a shop where they charge a huge hourly rate for something simple. And the best part of this group is it is free. It will likely only be free to the first 100-200 people but if you get in free it will stay that way for you. Free people will be grandfathered in permanently.

I want this to be a go to community where any issue you might have involving your machines where myself or anyone in the group can either provide an answer or find a source somewhere on the internet that does have the solution. The other cool thing is if you have a local based business relevant to this space (mechanic shop, construction business, trucking company, welding shop, fabricator, etc) you will be allowed to use this space to let everyone in the group be aware of it. I just don’t want this to be a spot where someone spams everyone with their brand new t-shirt brand.

So if that interests you the link to the group is here:https://www.skool.com/diesel-den-3639/about

I hope this proves to be valuable to everyone in it. We’ll see you next week with some diesel related news.
