Next GT-R To Be All Electric

As the 2024 GT-R is the last year of the R35 generation Nissan has already hinted that the next one will be an EV.

They have also stated it is no longer working on any new internal combustion engines.

Which is depressing to hear meaning the V6 found in the new Z model is one of the last performance V6s we will see from them.

Nissan has been a long participant in the formula E series and many have hinted they would bring their engineering tech from that space to this new street legal EV project.

Not to say the theoretical car won’t be a high performance monster as the original Godzilla was but it appears the GT-R is effectively another extinct Gem of a once great sports car era.
