Off-Road Mustang in 2026

A rumour was going around of Ford releasing an off-road version of the mustang but Car and Driver released an article not too long ago with the rendering you see above stating this was scheduled to arrive in 2026.

This was added by proof from Ford authority to suggest the same story and that this car would come with the 5.0L Coyote V8. And their rendering shown below.

There are many mixed feelings on this car. For example if you’re a ford fan would you buy this instead of a mustang? And if you want an off-road vehicle would someone buy this instead of just buying a Bronco Raptor? Hard to say.

There was also a theory going around of a 4-door mustang that was being shown to a couple of dealerships in the Vegas area. It could be that this is the same idea and these 2-door renderings are actually inaccurate. Regardless we will update you with details that come out straight from Ford with further confirmation.
